Siobhan is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has two decades of experience working as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings. Siobhan began her career working in pediatrics in a school-based program and then in a language development school.
Her experience also includes work with adults in a trauma hospital in acute care, outpatient care and skilled nursing. Before returning to working with children in a clinic setting in March of 2014, she worked with infants and toddlers and their families in their homes doing early intervention.
Siobhan has received training in sensory integration, treating disorders of movement and postural control utilizing the Swiss gymnastic ball, vision therapy, myofascial release, neurodevelopmental treatment, early intervention and aquatic therapy. She loves to work with clients of all ages doing water therapy with her company, Wellspring Warm Water Therapy. She is trained and certified to use Therapeutic Listening and recently completed training to be a consultant with Sound Therapy Synergy. She is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Siobhan is the mother of four, one of whom has special needs and she understands the challenges that face families of children with different abilities. She has a passion for learning about the body and development and about ways that she can help adults and children to be successful and independent in their life activities.
